DULA Joins LAPD Health Fair to Support Community Wellness and Collaboration

Dongguk University Los Angeles (DULA) participated in the LAPD Health Fair on September 25, 2025, hosted by the Los Angeles Police Department of Torrance. The event, held at 2200 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, aimed to promote community wellness and strengthen partnerships between local organizations and the LAPD.

Representing DULA were Academic Dean Dr. Stephan Seo and a member of the DULA Clinic Team, who provided free acupuncture demonstrations and on-site health consultations. The DULA booth drew approximately 80 visitors, with around 60 individuals receiving treatments. Attendees also received personalized health advice and information about DULA’s programs and clinic services.

Feedback was highly positive, with many participants reporting noticeable relief from pain and stress. Representatives from the LAPD and other organizations expressed interest in future collaboration with DULA. Through this event, DULA reaffirmed its mission to promote holistic health and contribute to the well-being of the local community.
