MOU with Chen Bing Taichi Academy Headquarters
Los Angeles, October 28, 2025 — Dongguk University Los Angeles (DULA) signed a MOU with Chen Bing Taichi Academy Headquarters (CBTA) to promote education, research, and cultural exchange in authentic Chen-style Tai Chi.
The signing ceremony was held on the DULA campus and attended by DULA President Dr. Jooyong Pak and Chen Bing, Founder of CBTA. Through this partnership, the two institutions will collaborate to
integrate traditional Chen-style Tai Chi into DULA’s academic and cultural programs, including education, and related initiatives. DULA also supports community wellness through a Tai Chi program at the Koreatown Senior Center, where more than 60 senior participants regularly train under professional instruction to improve balance, flexibility, and overall health.
Master Chen Bing is a direct descendant of Chen Wangting and the 20th-generation lineage holder of the Chen family tradition. Following the ceremony, Master Chen Bing and Master Bosco Baek presented a Tai Chi demonstration, highlighting the depth and elegance of traditional Chen-style Tai Chi.
This MOU reinforces DULA’s commitment to holistic health, cultural exchange, and lifelong wellness education.
