2nd Hybrid Classroom Added to Support Student Learning
Dongguk University Los Angeles has established a second hybrid classroom to enhance student learning and expand hands-on clinical instruction. Following the success of the Spring 2025 pilot program, demand for hybrid courses—combining synchronous online theory with in-person practical demonstrations—has grown significantly, creating scheduling challenges in the existing hybrid-equipped space.
Classroom 218 has been upgraded to match the technical standards of the first hybrid classroom, Classroom 211. The new setup includes high-definition PTZ cameras, dual displays, wireless microphones, dedicated computers, and high-speed connectivity, ensuring clear instruction and smooth online participation while accommodating hands-on practice.
This addition resolves scheduling conflicts and allows multiple classes to run hybrid sessions at the same time, particularly during high-demand periods. It also increases enrollment capacity while maintaining high instructional quality, allowing students to benefit from flexible learning that combines online theory with in-person practice.
The Academic Department completed the installation of Classroom 218 in time for the Winter 2026 quarter, providing students with an improved learning environment and reinforcing the university’s commitment to high-quality, flexible education.
