The Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program of DULA are designed for the students who graduate from these programs to be employed as Acupuncturist (Standard Occupational Code (SOC) for Acupuncturists from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) as SOC – 29-1291). Upon the successful completion of the MSOM program, students in all three language tracks are eligible to sit for the licensing examination given by the California Acupuncture Board, as well as the examination given by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
