DULA offers MAcHM, DAcHM and DAcHM Completion Track

MAcHM

Designed for future acupuncturists who want to practice East Asian Medicine with a strong emphasis on integrative medicine.
  • Duration: 4 Years (213 didactic units & 480 clinical hours)
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree or minimum of an Associate's degree with 60 semester units (90 quarter credits) or above, minimum cumulative GPA 2.5

Designed for future acupuncturists who want to practice the full breadth of functional & integrative medicine allowed under their license.
  • Duration: 4 Years (243 didactic units & 500 clinical hours)
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree or minimum of an Associate's degree with 60 semester units (90 quarter credits) or above, minimum cumulative GPA 2.5
  • Financial Aid: Scholarships, Federal Aid, Veteran Benefits, Work/Study, Installment Payments available
  • Lecture Format: In-Person, Online, Hybrid

DAcHM Completion Track

Designed for current Acupuncturists with an MAcHM or equivalent degree who want to achieve a doctoral education and expand their expertise.
  • Duration: 9 Months (30 didactic units & 20 clinical hours)
  • Requirements: MSOM, MAcCHM, MSACCHM or any other Master's degree related to East Asian Medicine
  • Financial Aid: Scholarships, Federal Aid, Veteran Benefits, Work/Study, Installment Payments available
  • Lecture Format: In-Person, Online, Hybrid

The Application Process

Gather Information

Research the program details, faculty, and accreditation on the our website to understand what the school offers in acupuncture and East Asian medicine.

Attend DULA's Open Houses

Visit open houses to get a feel for the school environment, meet faculty, and ask specific questions about the program.

Gather Application Documents

Collect necessary documents including academic transcripts, a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and evidence of completed prerequisites.

Submit Applications

Complete and submit your application form with all required documents, adhering to the application deadline.

Attend an Interview

Participate in a scheduled interview to discuss your interest in acupuncture, your background, and your career aspirations.

School Decision & Orientation

Wait for the school's decision on your application. Once accepted, all new students must attend an Orientation held at the beginning of each quarter.
